Biography

GDC No: 265066

Geeta qualified from Newcastle University in 2016.

She travelled to Tanzania in 2011 where she gained insight into the work of healthcare professionals in East Africa and participated in dental volunteer work at Iringa Regional Hospital.

Her experience showed her a different aspect to dental care in a part of the world where oral health is heavily determined by both social and economic factors.

She also carried out a two week elective in Vietnam where she was part of a team of six volunteers. Over the period the team treated over 600 orphans in both a clinical and an outreach centre, carrying out procedures from extractions to fluoride application and oral health education.

She has a caring nature and is dedicated to easing anxious patients with their experiences in the dental environment.

She enjoys helping to motivate patients to maintain a high standard of oral health. She has completed the year-long ‘Chris Orr advanced restorative course’ in London which has enhanced her interest and knowledge with new procedures and materials available. This has given further insight and skills with minimally intervention-based techniques and cosmetic dentistry, which is where her passion lies.

Other hobbies include a strong passion for baking, fitness and traveling.
