Kerry started her dental career of as a dental nurse in 1996, where she worked in a general dental surgery and qualified in 1998. Kerry then went on to study and qualify as an Oral Health Educator. Kerry did a small amount of Orthodontic nursing at the practice which she thoroughly enjoyed and so decided to move to an orthodontic only clinic where she qualified in dental radiography, impression taking and orthodontic nursing.

Kerry then had the opportunity to go on further and become an Orthodontic Therapist. Kerry studied Orthodontic therapy at UCLan in Preston and qualified in 2010 with distinctions. Kerry graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh the following year. Kerry started working for Apple Tree in November 2012 and really enjoys working as part of the team. Kerry has since gone on to study Hypnosis in Cambridge and qualified in hypnotherapy in 2014.

Kerry is currently studying Psychotherapeutic Counselling as she finds this course helps her to engage with her patients with a better understanding of patient’s fears and worries.

In her spare time, Kerry likes to spend time with her growing family. She also loves to cook, paint and read when she finds the time.
