Shashi Misra

Having qualified from the University of Glasgow in 1997, Shashi joined the Army and served for over 11 years in the Royal Army Dental Corps after general practice and oral and maxillo-facial surgery appointments in and around Manchester. In his time in the Army, Shashi completed postgraduate training with distinction in endodontics from the Eastman Dental Institute, London. On completion of this training, Shashi was responsible for the providing the referral endodontic service for the Navy, Army and Air Force in addition to the teaching of endodontics to Dental Officers of all levels of experience, both serving and civilian, working within the Defence Dental Services.
With a broad background in restorative dentistry, Shashi has a passion for providing the very best for his patients by working within a multi-disciplinary team.
Shashi’s interest in the clinical aspects of both non-surgical and surgical endodontics is enhanced with a keen interest in teaching and education, a role he sees as paramount to improving the quality of endodontics being provided as a whole. A Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Shashi’s commitment to life-long learning extends to improving both himself and others around him.
With his focus centred around the patient, Shashi provides the very best that endodontics has to offer and is always approachable and happy to assist both the patient and referrer as much as he can.
